I am a visual artist and a visual lover. My life is composed of images that I create and see through others. And, while I love capturing images to share with others, I have a deep appreciation for those who have been capturing images years before I came into this world. Photography is more than my passion and my love, itʼs my life.

I started photography as a hobby when I was a teenager and my first job was at a photo lab at age 15 and I remember the first time I went into the darkroom, put a sheet of paper in a solution and saw an image slowly appear in front of my eyes. I was hooked. To capture an image and see it come to life was amazing. I left Hawaii at age 19 to pursue my hopes of being in the industry and working in Hollywood. Big dreams for a little island girl. Little did I know I would become owner of one of the top photo labs in Los Angeles, catering to many world known photographers, A+ celebrities and high profile clients. While it has been very rewarding, I realized I was missing something…my camera. In 2008, I picked up my camera and began recording life again. It has been a great journey and I finally feel like my circle is now complete again.

I see the beauty in everyone and photography allows me to capture what I see and share it with others. It gives me the opportunity to capture emotions, connections and life. My work has been described as authentic, true, real and beautiful. Words that I am proud to be associated with.
